The Atlas does not promise certainty. It gives you more places from which to see.
It separates proximity from importance, sequence from meaning, reaction from structure, and perception from the position that produced it.
What changes is not only what you notice. What changes is what becomes available to think.
To hold the Atlas is not to possess secret answers. It is to carry a set of questions most people never learn to ask.
THAT DIFFERENCE IS QUIET. IN PRACTICE, IT CAN BE DECISIVE.
The Atlas can be used wherever perception influences judgment — wherever a single overlooked relation can alter the whole.
It does not tell the observer what to see. It reveals how many different ways of seeing were absent from the first conclusion.
Stand where you always stand, and the room confirms what you already believed. Move one position — from near to medium, from present to retrospective — and the same room begins to answer a different question. Nothing in the room has changed. Everything available to think has.
